MTV Day -Madrid's Plaza de Toros de las Ventas hosts MTV Day with bands performing live at the venue and also transmitted on MTV España. The event brings together the best in current Spanish rock and pop music and also promises a performance by a top international band.
Highlights include La Oreja de Van Gogh, Alex Ubago, Coti and Deluxe as well as other national and international bands. The event started last year and in 2005 a percentage of the profits is to be given to the victims of 11 March 2004 terrorist bombings in Madrid.
